Introduction
CNWL, as always is working to improve the health and wellbeing of the people we serve and our communities.
As we look ahead to the next five years, we have been developing a new Trust Strategy that will guide how we do this and continue to improve.
The draft strategy focuses on 3 areas
- We will set the standard for neighbourhood care, so people consistently experience seamless, community-based, support close to home
- We will intervene early, and place young people at the centre of our work
- We will be a leader in transforming healthcare using digital, data and research
Before the strategy is finalised, we want to hear from as many of our staff, people who use our services, partners and communities as possible.
Our engagement is being delivered in two phases:
- Phase 1 (Feb-Mar): A high-level engagement and survey completed with colleagues and service users to gather views on the most important issues that our strategy needs to address. This initial engagement has fed into the development of a draft Trust Strategy for 2026-2031.
- Phase 2 (Aug- Sept): Wider testing of a draft strategy with our staff and services users, our system partners and the communities we serve, to test and refine our proposed ambitions and priorities.
We are now in phase two and are seeking further feedback. Your views, experience and expertise will help ensure the final strategy reflects the needs of our staff, services and communities, and supports the changes we want to see across CNWL in the next five years.
Have your say on the 2026 Strategy
Please take a few minutes to review the draft strategy and complete the short feedback survey insert link. We are particularly interested in your views on our proposed priorities and whether there is anything missing from our plans.
The survey can be accessed here and will close on 7 September 2026.
