Nine years on we remember the terrible events of 14 June 2017 and stand in remembrance of the 72 lives lost; forever in our hearts.

We salute the bereaved and survivors who, with the community, courageously press for truth, justice and change.

Their determination is inspirational and has in turn inspired us; we have learned a great deal from this culturally diverse, unique and vibrant community about better ways of working together to address health inequalities.

The Grenfell Health and Wellbeing Service has become an integral part of the community’s healing journey - providing not just clinical care, but a compassionate, culturally sensitive space where people feel seen, heard, and supported. The extension of funding is a recognition of the enduring impact of the tragedy and the ongoing needs of the bereaved, survivors, and wider community.

We remain absolutely committed to walking this path with you in a way that is open, gentle, and respectful. We will continue to listen, to learn, and to work alongside you - ensuring that everything you’ve taught us remains at the heart of how we move forward together.

On this anniversary of sadness, sending my love and support to you all.
