Even though football didn't quite come home this year, here's your chance to get involved.

NHS Colleagues are invited to take part in the Milton Keynes adult wellbeing and community sports day on Saturday 8 August 2026 12pm-4pm at Shenley Brook End School, Walbank Grove, Shenley Brook End, Milton Keynes, MK5 7ZT.

The event will bring together local communities for an afternoon of football, netball, wellbeing stalls and community connections. It's part of the follow-up work from the Black Men's Wellbeing Festival, continuing our commitment to engaging with communities through sport in a welcoming and inclusive way.

The day is being co-produced with local community partners and aims to encourage conversations about health and wellbeing while bringing people together.

We're looking for NHS players

We are currently recruiting participants and are particularly hoping to assemble both an NHS football team and an NHS netball team.

If you're interested in playing, please contact:

Even if you're not taking part in the sport, everyone is welcome to come along, meet local organisations, visit the wellbeing stalls and support the teams.
