Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Parker CBE as a Non‑Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee.
Michael brings decades of senior leadership experience across the NHS and wider public sector, supported by his professional background as a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). His extensive experience spans NHS Surrey and Sussex Integrated Care Board, King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust and national bodies including the Food Standards Agency, NHS Appointments and NHS Employers.
A founding member of King’s Health Partners, Michael has long been recognised for his contributions to corporate governance, risk management, equality, diversity and inclusion and public service. His work has shaped frameworks still used across the NHS today.
His appointment strengthens CNWL’s commitment to strong governance, financial stewardship and high‑quality equitable care for the diverse communities it serves.

Throughout my career I have sought to provide independent judgement, support and challenge and to champion patients, the public and the NHS.
